The soil types comprise of a heavy black, chocolate brown and red basalt soil profile with some lighter intrusions suitable for summer and winter grain production, annual fodder cropping and grazing pursuits. The property has a double frontage to Saltwater Creek and a number of unnamed waterways.
The property is fully contoured for soil erosion control with the majority of the arable areas cleared for cultivation. The main timber species comprises of white box and kurrajong.
