The cottage itself has an unusual but functional layout. The storage in this cottage is plentiful and makes it a very comfortable home. You step straight into the newly renovated kitchen which features a massive pantry that has enough room for all the food you could want and your appliances! The kitchen sink is unusual in that it is very deep, giving you the ability to clean all of those pots and pans with ease. There is always plenty of hot water with the instant gas system and the beauty of that is you only pay for the heating of what you use making it very economical. The cooking is electric and the stove is new.
From there you walk into the living space, which is open plan to the kitchen. This is a great size and has the old solid fuel stove in the corner. The owner tells me that in the winter she does all of her cooking on it and it keeps the home cosy and warm throughout the cooler months. In summer you have 2 ceiling fans and a cooling air conditioner to beat the heat.
Surprisingly the master bedroom is large and has a walk-inrobe any woman would fall in love with. There are double glass doors going out to a side veranda where it would be a perfect place to have your morning coffee or tea. The second bedroom is also a great size and has ceiling fans installed for your comfort.
The Bathroom has a half bath with a shower over it and a vanity it is just off the laundry, which is very large with an energy saving skylight.
Outside the back door is a screened entertainment area, which is paved and has lattice around the outside.
There are 4 garden sheds and a well-organised workshop in the backyard and plenty of room for the avid gardener to further develop the established garden. For propagation, there is a greenhouse, which will be handy for when Jack Frost is about too!
