Affordable Housing:
The Affordable Housing scheme provides Australians on low to moderate incomes with an opportunity to rent homes at a rate that is below market value rent. Affordable Housing homes are not social housing - they are affordable private rental homes. Eligibility is strictly income dependent. The total income of the all tenants of an Affordable Housing rental property is used to calculate the overall household income for that property.
Eligibility:
You may be eligible if you can prove that over the past 12 months you have received an income between $45,000 and $50,700 (as a single) or $76,100 (as a couple), and the weekly cost of rent does not exceed more than 30% of your weekly household income. For each additional adult, the income limit can be increased by $25,400 and $15,200 for each additional child (under 18 years).

Complete and check it thoroughly. Return the form via email or in person onsite with ALL supporting documents as outlined.
These supporting documents include proof of income for all household members over the past 12 months, proof of identity via photo ID license or passport, 12 months worth of bank statements to prove your current assets and a copy of a Residential Tenancy Agreement or three (3) detailed rent receipts with Landlords full name, address and phone number.
