If you are capable and up for more than a bit of a renovation challenge, then you really need to come an inspect 19 Mooranga Road in the beautiful and tightly held waterside suburb of Mirrabooka.

This poor old home has definitely seen better days and probably needs to be demolished, however there are some very clever people out there who may be able to bring her back from the brink.

The three bedroom home appears to have been built in the 50's given the fancy cornices and rosettes and was relocated to it's current location some years ago, but sadly has been abandoned and fallen into disrepair. As a result, there is plenty of hard work to do, along with clearing of the land and a a fair bit of rubbish removal.

On a positive note, it is located in a pretty street approximately 300m from the waterfront reserve on Lake Macquarie and sits on an elevated 721m2 block that backs onto acreage which may, with a two storey build, have some lake views. Close to local shops and schools, with Morisset CBD, train station and M1 Freeway a short drive away.

Ultimately the choice is yours, particularly if you don't mind plenty of work, but realistically demolition is the more likely option.
