Last Listing description (September 2023)

This beautifully renovated house (unfurnished) can be found in the village of Jamberoo, 10 minute drive from Kiama. It has a magnificent outdoor entertaining area that backs onto a Jamberoo farm so there is complete privacy. It also had a long front verandah overlooking Jamberoo Valley. There is easy access to the back of the house up the side drive that can house three cars back to back.

There is a large country style kitchen and large lounge room with a combustion stove. One bedroom does not have a wardrobe but there is heaps of storage space with a huge linen press, additional cupboard and big built ins in the other two rooms. One bedroom has a french door to access the outdoor patio. There is a large bathroom and then also a powder room.

New timber flooring, plantation shutters and rosettes on the ceiling so the house is definitely suited to someone who loves the country style of the Edwardian/Victorian style of house. It is pet friendly although only a small dog would be appropriate. I have a cavoodle. Owner will be living downstairs although I am away a fair amount of the time but would be happy to puppy sit in between if owners had a little dog.

I love children but the the house is not condusive to children full time and better off with visits with school holidays or weekends and is better attuned to a professional couple. Owner will largely maintain garden. Sorry no shed or garage but area to be able to put in a another shed/cupboard if required at the cost of the tenant. Great area for those into sports with cycling and walking and close to the surf. There is the bowling club, the famous Jamberoo Pub and not far from other attractions.
