Originally built in 1901, Billow View is a distinguished landmark set in a commanding position, with stunning ocean, beach, and headland views. This historic estate was commissioned for William Richard Cooke, and once spanned 45 acres of prime headland, stretching down to Boat Harbour. Cooke is widely credited with planting many of the majestic Norfolk pines that now define the Gerringong landscape.

Throughout its rich history, Billow View has undergone several transformations. The property saw significant modifications in the 1930s and was almost entirely rebuilt in the 1990s to preserve its charm and functionality. In 1959, the Christian Brothers acquired the estate from the Cooke family, converting it into a retreat and conference centre. Today, it provides accommodation for approximately twenty guests across ten bedrooms, complemented by dining halls and well-equipped kitchens.

Billow View is set across two main buildings joined by a central courtyard and six-car carport. The first building features six bedrooms including an expansive master suite with ensuite, and a further five bedrooms that are serviced by a large shower block, including excellent disabled access and facilities. There's a large meeting and dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The second building offers a further meeting and dining area with an extensive second kitchen, a further toilet and shower block and large laundry. A further four bedrooms all open onto the enclosed verandah that looks across to the headland and Boat Harbour.
