The current owners run breeding ewes, selling off the lambs plus fatten the odd steer. There are cattle and sheep yards for the domestic animals that share the land with echidnas, platypus, kangaroos, owls and many native birds.
The Bathurst school bus goes past the gate and the local school is the highly thought of Eglinton Primary.
