WHAT THE OWNERS LOVE ABOUT THEIR HOME AND LOCATION
As two young brothers, we purchased 261 Harbord Rd Dee Why because the layout worked perfectly for us. I have been easily able to accommodate my family together with my brother and his partner live in a separate self-contained studio downstairs.
We installed a new kitchen with stone benchtops about 5 years ago and we have recently painted the home internally. We also built an outdoor pizza oven and undercover cabana area at the rear which has been a real hit for outdoor entertaining.
The location is a real surprise package. Set on a battle-axe block away from the street you forget that you are in such a handy location. We have really enjoyed the private, quiet and leafy feel. Step back outside it s only a short bike ride down for a surf, Dee Why main, Brookvale and North Curl Curl is only a 5-minute walk either way, plus transport and schools are also only down the road.
We will be very sad to leave our current set up however as both our families are growing it has now come time to sell up and go our separate ways. We are sure the next owners will love the home and location as much as we have.
- The Cooper Family
