The soils are principally red loams through to red and grey self mulching clays. Timber includes kurrajong, pine, rosewood, belah, wilga, myall box and redgum. Lucerne has been grown extensively over the last ten years allowing the fattening of lambs throughout all seasons.
Euglo has a water system delivering reliable water across the property. As part of 'The Euglo Water Scheme' water is delivered to the property from the Lachlan River. As a back up, the property also has a private scheme which delivers water to various tanks and troughs across the property. Average annual rainfall is 471mm (Burcher rainfall station) spread evenly across the year.
