Last Listing description (October 2021)

Budgewoi has always been a popular location to retire. It isnt apparent until you actually move here how many services this quaint little town has.

I have just moved my own parents into a waterfront, not much different to this one. The ability to walk to town isn't always appreciated straight away. My mum being able to toddle off and get her hair done, or pop into the post office or doctor is just so valuable to her, no longer does she have to wait for father to get home from golf. As they are getting older, I see how much more important location is to them both.

Budgewoi is a great little suburb and being one of the older towns, it has all the services you could possibly need :

2 doctor surgeries 2 chemists pathologist optometrist podiatrist physiotherapist accountant solicitor
newsagency hairdresser barber cafe takeaway restaurants Coles Supermarket Butcher Baker candle-maker

The time is now yours to kick your feet up relax and enjoy everything you have dreamed about. The large deck will entice you into the outdoors where you can snuggle up with a good book and a coffee (depending on the time of day - of course)

No longer will you be boxed in by 4 walls and tall fences, the waterfront lifestyle is something that transforms your life, whether it is watching the bird life throughout the day or the lights glistening off the lake at night.

Covid has really made a change to everyones life and being able to feel part of the community whilst staying at home is more valuable than you could ever think. Just that wave and hello from the locals whilst they are taking their daily walks, makes all the difference. You no longer feel isolated, that because you aren't. Enjoy the community and not having to leave your property.

So whether you build your new dream home or enjoy the feel of a home that embraces a little of yesteryear. They are not making more waterfront land, it truly is a rare commodity.

Offering a spacious kitchen, open lounge room and living areas, 2 good size bedrooms & bathroom. It really is the deck that takes your eye, transitioning from the inside to the outside seamlessly. Whilst allowing you to feel all prim and proper it also allows you to feel comfortable that when the kids have let the dog in or left their sandy footprints all the way up the hall when returning from the beach. The floorboards and open living really do make for comfortable and carefree lifestyle.

Every time I go to this home, I feel at peace, she might be a little old, but she sure is a beauty.

To think I haven't even gone into the fact of how much your grandkids will want to visit, 'comon grand-dad, lets go fishing", "where is the paddle for the kayak", "do I really have to wear a life jacket" - "hurry hurry we want to go to the beach". never a sweeter word has been said.

Having around 20km of Australia's finest beaches just minutes away, they have everything you could possibly need. Flagged Patrolled beach for the kids to swim, loads of space for a game of cricket, even a popular location for some ocean fishing. There is even a dedicated beach to walk the dog. For those looking for something a little more risque, head North into the National Park, where we say "anything goes" including the swimwear.
