I am looking for a housemate to move in from 9 December 2018. You'll get your own bedroom, bathroom and secure car parking spot on Forbes Street in Turner - all in walking distance to Civic, ANU, O'Connor shops, Braddon and shortly, a light rail stop.Monthly rent is $1,100 ($275 a week), $25 a month for ADSL [which will soon change to NBN and may adjust monthly cost], $45 for monthly visit by cleaner, and 50% split of quarterly electricity bill.Bond will be $1,100 and you will need to be prepared to go onto the month-to-month lease. I have rented the place for almost four years and am a long-term tenant.It's a fully furnished apartment (aside from your bedroom). Air conditioner in living room, fridge, washer and dryer all included. Open living area and big balcony opening onto the tree-lined Forbes Street. Bedrooms face onto Black Mountain. Generously sized storage cage in basement.About meI'm a 27-year-old public servant working 9 to 5. I'm also a musician which means I'm out most weeknights at rehearsals or gigs. I also train for triathlons and mountain bike in the early morning and on weekends. This means I'm not home a lot, but when I am, I generally enjoy sitting on the couch with a book or watching TV to decompress.I'm looking for a housemate who is a similar age, working professional and has share house experience.
