What we love most about living at 11 Dalrymple Street, Narrabundah
11 Dalrymple Street is simply easy, relaxing living. The house itself is surrounded by lovely low maintenance gardens, we have an abundance of native plants which attract wildlife, such as our resident blue wren and blue tongue lizard families. The house was built in 1960 and retains its old world charm with 9ft ceilings, art deco features and decorative cornices but has been modernised with large airy windows and crisp, clean finishes. It is solid double brick, which makes it cool in summer and cosy warm in winter; thanks to a wonderfully efficient ducted gas heating system. All windows are large and most look out onto leafy private gardens. We've also loved the convenient location, living walking distance from the restaurants and shops of Red Hill, Griffith and Manuka has been wonderful. We work in the Parliamentary Circle and it is just a quick downhill bike ride to work and the Red Hill Nature Reserve is also within easy walking distance.
