Owners' comments:
Location: Combined with the advantages of a central location, within cafes/restaurants in the area and a short walk to the main city area, but is placed close to access to the lake for walking and cycling. It is also very convenient to access and easy to get in/out of the area by car with Parkes way opening up access to other parts of Canberra.
The apartment itself is large and spacious compared to other 2 bedroom apartments. We like the open-plan aspect of the place.
But even compared to other apartments of the same surface area, it feels a lot larger. Many apartments contain relatively wasted/unusable space in hallways/entryways and the design/layout of this apartment has no hallways at all, so the space is efficiently used.
Kitchen and entertaining is a major feature of major importance to us. Kitchen is a good useful layout and has a large island bench (with power outlets) for working in. The kitchen area is also integrated into the remainder of the living space so anyone cooking remains connected with other household occupants.
