It's with a lot of emotion that we're putting our beloved home on the market, but we're also very excited for our next chapter with baby number 2 on the way! This wasn't just a house to us. It's where we fell in love with the idea of family, welcomed our first child, and created memories we'll now carry forever. The only reason we're moving on is to upsize for our growing family - otherwise, we would have stayed for many more years to come.
When we first inspected 6/1 Alvey, we were instantly drawn to the peaceful vibe and the smart design of the tri-level layout. But what also sealed the deal for us was the location, easy access to the M1 3 minutes away to Robina Town Centre, beautiful parks, schools, off lead dog areas and all the amenities we needed.
What made this home so special for us was the way it embraced natural light. On sunny days, it felt like the whole place doubled in size. The lounge, kitchen, and dining area were the heart of our home, and being able to open up both the front and back decks gave us so much flexibility and joy. We even extended the rear deck to better enjoy the garden space - a decision we've never once regretted!
We will never forget that sunny day in January when we brought our first baby home. Sitting out on the front deck, overlooking the pool, we knew this home was the perfect place to begin our family's journey and we literally couldn't stop smiling! The pool has truly been a gift - it feels like your own private oasis even during holidays when it's not even that busy, and it's just steps away from our front door.
Living in a boutique complex of only 20 homes gave us a real sense of community, privacy, and safety - especially with the added peace of mind that comes with secure gates and a well-managed body corporate. The low fees ($117/week) made it all the more appealing! We were so grateful that our beautiful beloved fur babies Leo and Lola (both medium sized rescues) were welcomed with open arms into this amazing community. They spend all their days lazing in the sun on the decks and when we get home from work they love to be taken to the new amazing Robina green parkland which we will truly miss! There are also so many other walking areas for dogs both on leash and off leash.
