The flat has a top loader washing machine but you can also use the bigger free 10kg USA Speed Queen commercial washing machine available in the laundry for larger items doonas, pillows, big sheets etc. A Miele vacuum cleaner is provided for tenants to use also. One off street FREE CAR SPOT secured with a cablegate is included only if you own a car. Couples with 2 CARS pay an extra ADDITIONAL FEE $7 PER WEEK ( a bargain for Battery Point parking with council parking inspectors walking the streets everyday !!! $1 per day extra !!!!) on to the rent for the 2nd car. It is very rare in Battery Point to offer any rental flat or house with " 2 " safe off street car spots secured with a cablegate but only if both tenants own their own car.
The building is on a dead end street and a very quiet place to live.
Very sorry no pets allowed due to the close proximity to the public street. There is no garden or lawn and no secured "enclosed" fences or gates to the public street and cars, delivery/garbage trucks etc... No smoking or vaping allowed. Enjoy the 5-25 minute walk to the City / Sandy bay shopping area / Salamanca/ UTAS/ IMAS / CSIRO/ Royal Hobart Hospital/ Govt. Offices etc
