About Phil
Phil McGrath has been involved with the property market all his life. His late father Ron was a builder who went on to become an award-winning real estate agent in south-east Queensland. Ron inspired a passion for the industry in Phil, who remembers when his father made the move from building to selling and sold five homes in his first week. Ron loved people, he became an excellent negotiator. He passed on to Phil his fundamental rule, which was to sell a client’s home with the commitment and dedication you would expect if it was your own. He was also very down-to-earth and moralistic, valuable traits he passed on to his son. Phil is highly educated, knowledgeable and experienced in property having obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Property Economics. He has worked at two international property companies (Lena Lease and Chesterton) before founding Impact Property.
